Perfecta® UV Finish

UV Finish Applied
Under One Roof

Perfecta® is Talbert's proprietary UV finishing system, applied in our City of Industry facility — giving you a factory-calibrated, ready-to-install surface on every panel and door we ship. No field finishing. No inconsistency. No delays.

The system uses UV-cured coatings that cure instantly under ultraviolet light, resulting in an exceptionally hard, durable surface with consistent sheen across your entire order — from the first panel to the last door.

Six Finish Types

From the natural beauty of clear UV to the drama of solid color — Perfecta® gives architects and designers a full palette.

01
Clear UV

Enhances and protects the natural beauty of the veneer. Available in all gloss levels from flat to high gloss.

All Sheens
02
Custom Stain

Custom-matched pigment stains in warm, cool, or natural tones applied beneath the UV topcoat for consistent color across every panel.

Matched to Sample
03
Solid Color

Opaque UV-cured solid color on veneer — giving you consistent color with the warmth and texture of real wood beneath.

Custom Color
04
Ceruse / Limed

White pigment fill applied into the open grain of the veneer, then UV-sealed. Creates the classic ceruse or limed effect.

Open Grain Species
05
Two-Tone

Dual-tone stain technique that emphasizes grain texture — a darker tone fills the open grain while a lighter tone sits on the face.

Specialty Effect
06
Wire-Brushed

Mechanical texturing of the veneer surface prior to UV finish application — enhancing grain depth and adding tactile texture.

Any Color, Any Sheen,
Matched to Sample

Talbert's finish team matches custom stain colors from physical samples, fan deck references, or color specifications. We produce sample boards for approval before full production — ensuring there are no surprises at installation.

Solid color opaque finishes are also available — opening up a palette of any paint color applied over real wood veneer.

Advantages of Factory UV Finish

Exceptional Durability

UV-cured coatings are significantly harder than conventional waterborne finishes — resisting scratches, abrasion, and everyday wear in high-traffic commercial spaces.

Consistent Results

Factory application under controlled conditions ensures every panel in your order matches — same gloss level, same color, same depth — panel one through panel one hundred.

Eco-Friendly

UV-cure technology produces near-zero VOC emissions during the curing process — a more sustainable finishing choice for projects seeking LEED credits or low-emissions specifications.

No Field Finishing

Panels and doors arrive site-ready. Eliminates field painting costs, VOC concerns at the job site, and the schedule risk that comes with wet trade finishing.

Panel + Door Match

Because panels and doors are both finished in the same facility with the same materials, Perfecta® guarantees a perfect match between your wall panels and door faces.

Expert Support

Our finish team provides sample boards before production, color-match consultation, and a maintenance guide with every order — so your finish performs for decades.
